Established in 2017, Guitar Shack isn't just a studio - it's a passion project born from over fifteen-years of teaching and twenty-five-years of professional performance. With an impressive track record of around one hundred to two hundred shows annually, along with countless studio recording sessions, I bring a wealth of real-world experience to every lesson.

My journey in music has taken me far, including representing the UK at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. Though we finished 24th, the thrill of performing to a 16,000 strong arena crowd and a television audience of 197 million was an unforgettable experience, enriching my teaching with invaluable skills.

Before gracing the Eurovision stage, I made appearances on esteemed British television programs like The Graham Norton Show, and rocked the airwaves of BBC Radio 1 & Radio 2. From global tours to intimate performances for thousands, my career has been a testament to the power of music.

For aspiring musicians aiming for their guitar grade exams, Guitar Shack offers tailored support, with a strong affiliation with the RockSchool exam board and a 100% pass rate!
